Windsor
Windsor is a beautiful English town on the banks of the River Thames and is home to one of the world's most enchanting and traditional castles. Windsor Castle looks the part of a castle to perfection- and that's because it is. Towers, turrets and even uniformed soldiers on guard, it's very difficult not to fall in love with the place. Windsor Castle is undoubtedly the highlight of a visit to Windsor. However it would really be a crime to miss the other sites on hand. Take a walk across the River thames to Eton filled with its delightful stores ranging from antiques to home made chocolate. Observe Eton college, traditionally a school for the rich and famous and see the boys in their traditional uniform as they go through their school day.
Today Windsor continues to grow as one of England's most loved tourist attractions. The Modern theme park of Legoland is a few minutes away from the city centre and offers fun for all the family.
